The space
Guests will enjoy magnificent sunsets from the large balcony, complete with electric Weber BBQ and outdoor table setting. Unlimited Wi-Fi and the personal use of a 4-seat electric buggy is available for the duration of your stay. Our valet service meets all guests at the airport or ferry terminal on arrival and assists with luggage transport to the apartment. Our valet then orientates guests as to the operation of the buggy and escorts them to the apartment. Prior to your departure, our valet will confirm a time for luggage collection and buggy drop-off.
The apartment’s spacious, open plan living / dining area has a smart TV, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Its kitchen is fully equipped with oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso Pod coffee machine. The apartment has full laundry facilities including a washing machine, dryer and clothes airer. Bed linen, towels and beach towels are also supplied for guest use.
Perfect for couples, the apartment’s bedroom has a king-sized bed, wall-mounted smart TV (with Netflix), separate air conditioning unit and ceiling fan, and sliding door access to the front and side balconies. A port-a-cot and highchair are available in the apartment for our younger guests however your own arrangements will need to be made for the hire a baby/child seat for the buggy.
The Compass Point complex is ideally located on the Marina side of Hamilton Island, close to restaurants, cafes, retail shops, IGA supermarket and bottleshop. Catseye Beach, the resort pools and access to Hamilton Island’s stunning national park walks are a short buggy ride away.

Our valet service will meet you at the airport or ferry terminal on arrival, manage your luggage, provide an overview on the operation of the buggy and escort you to the apartment. Prior to your departure, your valet will confirm a time for luggage collection and buggy drop-off.
You have full access to the complex pool, along with all the resort facilities at Catseye Beach, including swimming pools, sun lounges around the pools and on the beach, bars and restaurants. Water activities, including paddle boards, kayaks and windsurfers are available to hire through Hamilton Island Beach Sports on the beachfront. You also have access to other services including tour booking agents, gym, tennis courts, ten-pin bowling, child minding, Kids Club, medical centre and day spa at an additional cost.
Other things to note
A small amenities pack is supplied at the commencement of your stay (including soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, washing and dishwasher powder sachets). This pack is intended as a starter pack only and may not last for the duration of your holiday. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional amenities as required.
As the island's restaurants are always busy, we recommend booking venues on the Hamilton Island App 3 months prior to your stay. Some dining venues, such as the Marina Tavern and TAKO do not require bookings. Orders for fresh seafood (including ready-to-eat platters and BBQ platters) can be placed online with Fishi (24 hours’ notice is required and delivery fees apply). The IGA supermarket is well stocked and well-priced.
The main pool has the island’s Swim Up Bar and the Bougainvillea Pool next to the Beach Pavilion is heated.
Hamilton Island is mostly cashless although some independent shops may accept cash including the Post Office, Trader Pete’s and the Ice Cream Parlour.
